Bill Russell is a former American basketball player with a 2012 net worth of $10 million. Russell accumulated his net worth as one of the greatest Boston Celtics players in NBA history. He was the first American player to have gain superstar status. Before his basketball career, Russell played for the University of San Francisco basketball team and led them to two consecutive NCAA Championships.
