Flea
Net Worth$115 Million USD
Flea was born Michael Peter Balzary in Melbourne, Australia on October 16, 1962. His family moved to New York City at the age of 5, and in the early 70s relocated once again to Los Angeles, California. He began playing the trumpet, and was enthralled by jazz musicians such as Miles Davis and Dizzy Gillespie. While attending Fairfax High School he met friend Anthony Kiedis, who turned him onto the punk rock music scene.
Their first album was released in 1984 to poor reviews. The second album “Freaky Styley” was released a year later, selling a mere 175,000 albums. The band gained more popularity in the early 1990s, and by mid 1995 Flea had taken on the role of lyricist, writing three songs on the group’s third album. In 2008 the band announced a hiatus, and Flea enrolled to take music classes at the University of Southern California. Flea has an estimated networth of $115 million.
