Kathy Hilton born March 13, 1959 is an American television host and actress. She is the mother of socialites Paris Hilton and Nicky Hilton. Hilton was born in Whittier, California to Laurence K. Avanzino and Kathleen Dugan 1933–2002. Her parents later divorced, and her mother remarried Kenneth E. Richards. Her maternal half-siblings are the actresses Kim Richards and Kyle Richards.
She met Hilton Hotel heir Richard Hilton at the age of 15. The couple married in 1979. The Hiltons have four children: daughters Paris Hilton 1981 and Nicholai Nicky Hilton, and sons Barron Hilton II and Conrad Hughes Hilton III.
